Job summary

Riverview Health & Rehab Center North in Detroit, MI seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our aging-in-place team across all three 8-hour shifts. You will provide essential patient care and support to residents with dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have an active and current CNA Certification through the State of Michigan.
• Current CPR certification.
• Prefer one (1) year experience in long-term care or similar setting.
• Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication, and communicate effectively with supervisor, staff members and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Providing care as directed by a nursing supervisor, including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting, and assisting with height and weight measurements.
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and recording intake and output information.
• Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering call lights and requests; reporting observations to nursing supervisor.
