Job summary

Hewitt Rehabilitation and Wellness Center is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, support mobility, and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure patient safety and dignity.

Full-time, hourly with shift differential pay (2pm-10pm +$3.00/hr; 10pm-6am +$1.50/hr). Requires CNA training and active certification; CPR and EHR familiarity preferred. Bilingual abilities a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and teams.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care techniques.
• Ability to pass background checks and health screenings including immunizations.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Support patients with mobility needs, including transferring, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide nutritional support by assisting with feeding and ensuring proper hydration.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment by following infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding patient status and changes in condition.
• Assist with basic medical procedures under supervision of licensed staff.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in accordance with regulations.
