Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced CNA for a per diem opportunity to work with adult and senior clients in the Flagstaff area. You will travel between client homes and provide in-home care on a per-visit basis.

Requirements include 1 year of work experience, active Arizona Nurse Aide Registry in good standing, English communication, successful completion of BAYADA competency exam, and background check. Mileage reimbursement provided.

Qualifications

• CNA with at least 1 year of experience.
• Must be listed on the Arizona Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
• Must demonstrate ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.

Job description

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced CNA for a per diemopportunity to work with adult and senior clients on a per visit basis. Candidate will need to travel between multiple client homes per day, so access to reliable transportation is required.

Immediate opportunity for coverage in the Flagstaff area- PRN.

As a home health Aide, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides home health, skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

A CNA must:

• Have at least one year of work experience
• Must be listed on the Arizona Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
• Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
• Have a criminal background check completed
• Meet all state requirements

Job Responsibilities:

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Nail care
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.

• Base Pay: per point, based on qualifications, negotiable
• Mileage Reimbursement
