Job summary

Glacier Hills is seeking CNAs for our community in Ann Arbor, MI. This position is part-time with a weekend shift.

We are part of Trinity Health Senior Communities, a large Catholic health care system with a mission to provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents. The role includes assisting residents with activities of daily living, participating in admissions/discharges, and supporting restorative care under supervision.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a current, active CNA certification in Michigan.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the admission, transfer, and discharge process for residents.
  • Assist Elders with daily living activities (dental care, feeding, bathing, dressing/undressing, nail care, hair care, shaving) as expressed by preferences.
  • Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents in beds, chairs, tubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
  • Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed; provide daily range of motion exercises; record data; respond promptly to resident calls.

Job Responsibilities
  • Supports the admission, transfer, and discharge process for the Resident.
  • Assist Elders with daily living functions such as dental care, feeding, bathing, dressing/undressing, nail care, hair care, and shaving according to expressed preference.
  • Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
  • Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed. Provide daily Range of Motion Exercises. Record data as instructed. Answer Resident calls promptly.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must possess a current, unencumbered, active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant in the state of Michigan
  • Minimum of one year of experience within a healthcare setting preferred.
