Heritage Senior Living in New Berlin, WI is seeking compassionate CNAs and Resident Assistants to join our team. You'll provide personalized care and support to residents, helping maintain independence, dignity, comfort, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA certification desirable, but not required.
• Experience in caregiving or senior living is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer-service abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Willingness to complete required CBRF certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, dining, and other daily activities.
• Provide care according to each resident's ISP.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using equipment and safe practices.
• Complete wellness checks and respond to resident calls and alarms.
• Observe changes in condition and report concerns.
• Document resident care and services.
• Assist with medications when trained and delegated.
• Follow resident rights, infection prevention, and safety requirements.
• Participate in required meetings and training.
• Help maintain a safe, homelike environment.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.

What You'll Do

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, dining, and other activities of daily living
• Provide care according to each resident's Individual Service Plan (ISP)
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment and safe practices
• Complete wellness checks and respond promptly to resident calls and alarms
• Observe residents for changes in condition or behavior and promptly report concerns
• Accurately document resident care and services
• Assist with medications when appropriately trained and delegated
• Follow resident-rights, infection prevention, and safety requirements
• Participate in required meetings and training
• Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and homelike environment
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• CNA certification desirable, but not required
• Previous caregiving, assisted living, memory care, or senior living experience is a plus
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Willingness to complete required CBRF certifications and training
• Ability to safely use applicable resident transfer and mobility equipment

Schedule

Our residents depend on us 24/7, so opportunities may be available across day, evening, and night shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Shift differentials may be available for eligible shifts.
