Job summary

Carillon Senior Living in Lubbock, TX is seeking a CNA Certified Nurse's Aide to join our Health Center team. You will assist residents with daily care and report changes to the nursing staff.

The ideal candidate holds Texas CNA certification, is able to lift up to 100 lbs, and demonstrates strong communication and teamwork. We offer comprehensive benefits, tuition assistance, paid time off, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Holds current Nursing Assistant Certification in Texas or has documentation from the state examiner that requirements were met.
• Completed and been certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR-Healthcare Provider) preferred.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to promote a courteous, calm atmosphere.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and assist with resident transfers.

Responsibilities

• Supports and nurtures residents' physical and mental health.
• Bathes residents as scheduled and provides other necessary personal care.
• Records medication and personal care given on the Daily Care Record.
• Reports relevant changes to Charge Nurse.
• Performs resident round with off-going shift and hourly checks.
• Lifts, turns, and transfers residents using proper safety equipment.
