Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a current state CNA certification.
• Minimum 1 year of Long Term Care experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move residents with proper safety techniques.

Responsibilities

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Record patient vital signs and assist with lifting and transporting residents.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse manager.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, peers and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes to nursing staff and assist the nurse as directed.
