Job summary

PowerBack Rehabilitation is seeking dedicated CNAs to join our Assisted Living team. You will work under the supervision of a Licensed Nurse to deliver efficient nursing care, support residents' personal needs, and contribute to a nurturing environment where patients thrive.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, taking vitals, aiding mobility, and ensuring comfort and safety. A state-approved CNA program and current certification are required.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant program and current certification.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English to ensure patient safety and care.
• Must provide TB test verification as required by state law and policy.
• Basic computer knowledge or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities (ADLs) including personal care, mobility, and feeding.
• Obtain and record vital signs, weights, intake and output accurately.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers, ensuring proper body alignment.
• Prepare patients for therapy and transport them while ensuring comfort.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment and respond to call lights promptly.
• Perform basic skin care and dressings as permitted by state regulations.
• Report any changes in patient condition to the charge nurse.
