Qualifications

• Required to have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a state-approved program for nursing assistants; valid CNA license mandatory.
• Minimum age 16 years and competency evaluated with the state of Kansas.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical care to residents to meet daily needs.
• Act as the residents’ closest advocate under a professional nurse’s direction.
• Promote psychosocial well-being through meaningful relationship building.

Skills

Proficiency in reading Resident Plans of Care

Spanish bilingual capabilities

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
