Job summary

United Methodist Communities in Newton, NJ is seeking a Healthcare Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) for Bristol Glen, a UMC community. The role offers $23–$25 per hour, part-time and per diem schedules, with night and weekend differentials available.

Nurses’ aides provide daily personal care and support to residents in a compassionate, mission-driven setting. Requirements include being 18+, holding an active NJ CNA certification, and prior long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Active New Jersey CNA certification (required).
• Prior experience in long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily personal care support to residents including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Follow resident care plans and complete documentation to support continuity of care.
• Conduct regular rounds on residents to provide consistent, individualized support in a healthcare setting.
• Assist residents during mealtimes and with mobility equipment.
• Build meaningful connections with residents and work collaboratively with team members.
