Position Overview

The mission of the Caregiver (Memory Care Professional) is to enhance the quality of life for Tender Rose clients and their families. The Caregiver (MCP) provides non-medical companionship care for clients with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Our caregivers deliver person-centered, activity-based care with a focus on luxury-brand customer service to improve mood and well-being.

Service Locations

• San Carlos
• Redwood City

Schedule

• Part-time shifts of 6 or 8 hours
• Full-time schedule of 8 hours, Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday

Responsibilities

• Follow customized care plans to meet clients’ needs, even as the disease progresses
• Assist with ADLs and personal care, including hygiene, mobility, incontinence, and feeding
• Perform light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation
• Must be able to drive own vehicle to outings and appointments
• Document tasks and communicate changes in client condition

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months professional caregiving experience
• Dementia care experience a plus
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle, registration, and insurance
• Pass background check
• Proof of work eligibility in the U.S.
• Home Care Aide Registration
