Job summary

Nurse Next Door Fresno North is seeking caring caregivers to provide in-home support for seniors. You will perform meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship and personal care under the client’s care plan.

Role includes transfers, mobility assistance and exercise support, with emphasis on safety and accurate documentation. We offer onboarding, training and clear pathways for career development in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• HCA certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Background check cleared within the last year.
• Negative TB test within 2 years.
• Two professional references available.

Responsibilities

• Provide meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship and personal care.
• Follow the client's care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Assist with transfers, mobility and exercises as appropriate.
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment.
• Document care records accurately.
• Deliver consistent, compassionate care to clients.

Duties

• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Help clients with their ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) that are within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide
• Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly

Requirements for position:

• Home Care Aide certified (Employer can also assist with getting HCA certified)
• Background or Criminal Record Check (less than 1 year old)
• Negative TB skin test (less than 2 years old)
• 2 Professional references
