Job summary

Nurse Next Door Fresno North is seeking caregivers to provide compassionate in-home care to seniors, with flexible scheduling and one-on-one client interaction. Join a team that values growth, development, and a supportive Care Services Center.

Responsibilities include following care plans, performing ADL assistance, and documenting care activities. In-person shifts with various day/evening/weekend options; training and onboarding provided.

Qualifications

• Home Care Aide certification (or employer help with certification)
• Background or Criminal Record Check (less than 1 year old)
• Negative TB test (less than 2 years old)
• Two professional references

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care.
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises.
• Meet safety needs and use equipment safely and properly.
• Document records accurately and thoroughly.

Duties

• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Help clients with their ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) that are within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide
• Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly

Requirements for position:

• Home Care Aide certified (Employer can also assist with getting HCA certified)
• Background or Criminal Record Check (less than 1 year old)
• Negative TB skin test (less than 2 years old)
• 2 Professional references
