Job summary

Nurse Next Door Fresno North is actively seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors at home, helping them stay independent with personalized care. We offer flexible schedules and one-on-one care, plus 24-hour support from our Care Services Center to back you up in the field.

As a caregiver, you’ll follow care plans, assist with ADLs, meal prep, light housekeeping, and safe transfers. On-boarding and ongoing training help you grow professionally and advance your career within the company.

Qualifications

• Certified Home Care Aide or willing to obtain certification.
• Background check within 1 year.
• Negative TB skin test within 2 years.
• Two professional references.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care.
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Help clients with their ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) that are within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide.
• Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises.
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description.
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
