EmpathyHands Home Care is looking for reliable, compassionate, and qualified Male caregivers to serve our clients in the Inglewood and Downtown Los Angeles areas. We are looking for COVID-vaccinated, experienced Caregivers, CNAs, or Senior Companions for clients in the Los Angeles Area.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our Empathyhands team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality care and support to patients in various healthcare settings. Ideal candidates will have their vehicle and a cell phone. Caregiver, HHA, CNA, or Senior Companion must also speak English well; and have a good driving record.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Nursing Assistant/Caregiver who has exceptional time management skills, is familiar with the challenges of working with Seniors, is highly organized, and can work independently. The successful candidate will also have excellent oral and written communication skills and will be responsible for assisting clients with a variety of tasks that include assisting with activities of daily living and documenting care tasks.

To be considered you must meet the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 24 months of caregiving experience for performing personal care with an emphasis on Dementia Care
• Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and proof of auto insurance (6 months or 1 year)
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Current TB skin test or clear X-ray
• Fingerprint Clearance (Live Scan)
• Insured and reliable transportation
• Motor Vehicle Record/Driving Record
• Three professional and three personal references

Responsibilities Will Include:

• Personal Care
• Light Housework
• Meal Preparation
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, incontinence care, laundry, personal hygiene, feeding, and other duties as required.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Assist with patient mobility and transfers.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.

Schedule:

Day shift: 12 to 4 pm or 1 pm to 5 pm Monday- Friday in El Monte. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 12 pm to 4 pm in Los Angeles, Inglewood, and Westwood.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.50 to $24.00 per hour.
