Job summary

Morningside House Senior Living in Laurel, MD is seeking caring Caregivers for AM/PM, part-time roles to support residents in assisted living and memory care. Join a team dedicated to warmth, kindness, and daily resident well-being.

You will help with daily activities, encourage independence, and build relationships, contributing to a respectful, compassionate environment for seniors and their families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
• CNA or CHHA certification may be required depending on the position.
• A genuine passion for helping seniors.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to treating residents, families, and coworkers with kindness and respect.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, medication reminders, and other daily activities.
• Encouraging independence while preserving each resident’s dignity.
• Building meaningful relationships and providing emotional support.
• Following individualized resident care plans and schedules.
• Communicating changes or concerns to the Health & Wellness team.
• Documenting care and assistance provided.
• Maintaining a safe, welcoming, and positive environment.
• Working alongside coworkers who believe in teamwork, compassion, and exceptional resident care.
• Participating in training, staff meetings, and professional development.
