BRIGHTSIDE HEALTHCARE SERVICES is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our care team in Maryland. You will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support mobility in hospital, senior care, and pediatric settings.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, collaborating with nurses, and providing compassionate patient support. A BLS certification is required, and this is a part-time, in-person position.

Qualifications

• Must possess BLS certification.
• Experience in nursing assistant or similar patient care roles is preferred.
• Able to assist with activities of daily living and monitor vital signs.
• Capable of lifting and transferring patients safely; mobility support.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs including temperature, pulse and blood pressure.
• Support mobility and help with transfers and positioning as needed.
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain clean, organized patient rooms and common areas.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to update and implement care plans.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families; report changes promptly.
• Document patient progress and communicate changes to the nursing team.
