Job summary

Diablo Valley Post Acute is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our 5-Star Medicare-rated skilled nursing and post-acute care team in California. This full-time position offers training, mentorship, and opportunities to grow while delivering high-quality daily resident care.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, maintaining dignity, following care plans, and collaborating with licensed staff to support resident recovery and comfort.

Qualifications

• Current, active California CNA certification required.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply—we provide training and mentorship.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous skilled nursing experience welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality daily care while promoting each resident's dignity, comfort, and independence.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and meal assistance.
• Follow individualized care plans and perform assigned nursing procedures under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the nursing team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to support each resident's care goals and recovery.
