Job summary

The CNA on the 3W - Cardiac Progressive Care unit at Froedtert ThedaCare Milwaukee provides delegated, age-appropriate nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You assist with basic nursing tasks, personal care, and safety, supporting complex patient needs in a high-acuity setting.

Required: Wisconsin CNA certification or eligibility, and BLS within 90 days of hire; preferred High School diploma. Unit hours include 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with rotating holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) duties under RN supervision.
• Basic nursing skills, personal care, and restorative tasks.
• Active Wisconsin CNA certification or enrollment in nursing program; BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate care under supervision.
• Assist patients with daily living activities and basic nursing tasks.
• Maintain safety and documentation as required by unit standards.
