A rehabilitation company in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide personal care for elderly patients. Overview

Position: CNA - ATL, GA - $18 PER HR at Collage Rehabilitation Partners

Shifts are 12-hour shifts: 7a-7p and 7p-7a. Pay: $18 per hour. CNA’s are needed in the Atlanta area and must be certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents (showering, bathing, dressing, eating).
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist with ambulation.
• Assist with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Assist with personal care and hygiene, plan and prepare meals, and help with physical therapy exercises.
• Complete client shopping or accompany them to do so successfully.
• Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
• Offer activities essential for daily living by assisting patients with meals and related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working one-on-one and be eager to improve and learn new skills.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and perform job-related duties.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate and supportive demeanor.
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
• Previous experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care (minimum 1 year).
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or HHA; or completion of a CNA program.
• Hoyer Lift experience (if applicable to client).
