Focused Post Acute Care Partners is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide in Beaumont, TX for a full-time role. You will assist residents with daily living activities, promote independence, and support a safe, caring environment.

Your duties include hygiene care, feeding assistance, mobility support, and timely response to call lights, while using electronic medical records to document care. Must hold TX CNA certification and maintain registry standing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Texas Nurse Aide certification required.
• In good standing on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry and Misconduct Registry.
• Ability to understand, remember and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Clear speech and hearing to communicate with residents.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with activities of daily living for independence and dignity.
• Ensure resident safety and proper hygiene (bathing, dressing, nails).
• Follow charge nurse schedule and assist with transfers.
• Respond to call lights promptly and assist/ feeding residents.
• Maintain clean, dry, and comfortable resident environment.
• Document care using electronic medical records (PointClickCare).

Position Summary

Responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living to promote resident independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Must have current Nurse Aide certification in the state of Texas
• Must be in good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry in the state of Texas and Misconduct Registry
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents

Essential Functions

• To ensure resident safety.
• Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress appropriately, nail care of any residents assigned
• Follow resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurse
• Lift, move, and transfer residents as required
• Answer call lights in a timely manner
• Assist or feed residents
• Keep resident clean and dry, toileting or providing incontinent care
• Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents
• Other duties as assigned
• Utilize electronic medical records charting; point click care

Physical Requirements

Have the ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
