Job summary

Orchard Valley Health and Rehabilitation in Hendersonville, TN is seeking experienced CNAs and CMAs to join our resident-centered team. All shifts available (8, 12, 16 hours) with wage increase package and daily pay. You will work to meet residents’ needs with compassion and professionalism.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, feeding, dressing, ambulation, recording vital signs and reporting changes to the nurse. Strong English communication and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Nursing Assistant certification from NC.
• Active CPR certification preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Professionalism and confidentiality.
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor with customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Tend to residents' needs, including bathing, feeding, dressing and ambulating.
• Take and record vital signs, assist with lifting and transferring.
• Recognize and report changes in residents' condition to nursing staff.
• Communicate with residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes to nursing staff and assist the nurse with duties as directed.

Shift Details:

All shifts available - 8, 12, and 16 hour shifts

What you will do:

• Tend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

What you need to have:

• Willingness to make a difference!
• Current Nursing Assistant certification from NC.
• Current / active CPR certification, preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
