Job summary

Encore Village of Schaumburg is seeking compassionate and dependable CNAs for 7am-7pm shifts in our skilled area. You will provide emotional and physical support, assist residents with daily activities, and help maintain a safe, respectful home.

Responsibilities include ADL assistance, reporting changes to nurses, documenting care, and communicating with residents and families with a positive approach. Must hold Illinois CNA certificate and CPR card.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois CNA Certificate is required.
• Current CPR Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a balance of emotional and physical support for residents, including activities of daily living.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
• Communicate changes in residents' condition to the nurse immediately.
• Perform assigned tasks as directed by Unit Manager.
• Complete CNA documentation (progress notes, meals/fluids, bowel chart, ADLs).
• Communicate with residents, families and co-workers with a pleasant, positive approach.
• Respect residents' rights to privacy and dignity.
