Job summary

Central Nursing Home in Chicago, IL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the AM Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM). The position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, and next-day pay is available.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor and report changes to nursing staff, and document care while maintaining a clean and safe environment. Preference for a valid Illinois CNA certificate and CPR (or willingness to obtain).

Qualifications

• Valid CNA Certification in Illinois
• CPR Certification (or willing to obtain)
• Dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude
• Ability to lift/move residents and perform physical duties
• Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills
• Must be eligible to work in a healthcare setting with no abuse-related convictions

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, and mobility
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Accurately chart and document care provided
• Promote dignity, respect, and quality of life for every resident
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and needs
• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams
