Job summary

Sierra Valley Rehab Center in Porterville, CA is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for all shifts. Part-time and full-time roles available. Pay range is $17–$18/hour. You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support a compassionate care team.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification in the state of California.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Previous long-term care experience preferred, but not required.
• Clear, compassionate communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Take and record vital signs, weights, and other measurements.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing staff.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Maintain clean and safe resident environments and document care plans.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
