Job summary

Lake Health District is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (PRN) to support nursing staff with 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays. The role is non-exempt and hourly, with responsibilities to assist with basic bedside care and patient comfort under RN/LPN supervision.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of CNA training, Oregon CNA license, and current CPR certification.

Position Summary: Assists professional nursing personnel by performing simple treatment and related bedside patient care. Uses skill and knowledge in basic nursing procedures and techniques. The Certified Nurse's Aide provides for patient personal care and comfort needs, and related non-professional services under the direction of the Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse.

Requirements

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent. Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Course. CNA License issued from the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Current CPR Certification.

Job Knowledge

Responsible to understand and implement CNA duties as described by the Oregon State Board of Nursing: \"Authorized Duties for CNA's\" and \"Standards of Care for CNA's\".

Successful completion of 500-hour probationary period.
