Job summary

Westside Oaks Rehab seeks a compassionate activities assistant to schedule and facilitate resident activities addressing creative, social, physical, spiritual and emotional needs. You will adapt activities to residents and integrate them into care routines under supervision of the Activity Director.

The role is physically active in a health care setting; candidates must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend and lift patients up to 50 pounds. Florida CNA license required.

Qualifications

• Florida CNA license is required to work as an activities assistant.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds daily.
• Work under the supervision of the Activity Director.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and facilitate activities to meet residents' creative, social, physical, spiritual and emotional needs.
• Adapt activities to residents and integrate them into overall resident care routines and objectives.
