Job summary

Sunset Villa Post Acute is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. shift. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications, with a focus on resident care and safety.

The role requires a valid CNA license active with no disciplinary actions and state licensing compliance. Duties include basic nursing tasks, charting, and assisting residents with daily activities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid and current Certified Nursing Assistant license in good standing with the CDPH licensing board.
• The nursing license must be active and free from any disciplinary actions.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments, meals, etc.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Record entries in flow sheets, notes, and charts accurately.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality of health information.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and care routines.
• Prepare rooms, assist with transfers, and help with positioning and mobility.
• Follow policies on exposure to blood and body fluids and ensure safety.
