Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort
• Promote independence for residents
• Inform supervising charge nurse of resident status at shift start and end
• Contribute to resident care plans with knowledge of conditions/needs
• Assist in care plan implementation within policy
• Observe and report residents’ conditions and document observations
• Ensure safe lifting/transfer per procedures
• Perform moderate to heavy lifting as required
• Ensure equipment is clean and functional
• Perform incidental housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
• Other duties as assigned
