Job summary

Willow Ridge Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Nurse Aide to provide basic nursing care under supervision. You will assist residents with bathing, grooming, mobility, bed-making, and hygiene, ensuring comfort and safety and reporting changes to the licensed nurse.

The role requires completion of a State Approved Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program and active status on the State Registry.

Qualifications

• State Approved Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program completed.
• Name must appear on State Registry as Nurse Aide in good standing.
• Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff.
• Must have the ability to read and write.

Responsibilities

• Participates in and receives nursing report upon reporting for duty
• Assists residents with resident care including bathing, grooming, hygiene and placement of adaptive equipment
• Explains procedures to residents before administering
• Keeps residents dry (changes gown, clothing, linen, etc., when it becomes wet or soiled)
• Changes bed linens and keeps linens tight to avoid wrinkles from forming under residents
• Makes beds (occupied and unoccupied)
