Job summary

Northrise Wellness & Rehabilitation in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a compassionate Nurse Aide to provide basic resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

You will assist with bathing, grooming, hygiene, and daily tasks, document care, and communicate clearly with residents about procedures. Prior experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Completed State Approved Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program.
• Name must appear on State Registry as Nurse Aide in good standing.
• Ability to read and write.
• Prior experience as Nurse Aide preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in and receives nursing report upon reporting for duty.
• Assists residents with resident care including bathing, grooming, hygiene and placement of adaptive equipment.
• Explains procedures to residents before administering.
• Keeps residents dry (changes gown, clothing, linen, etc., when it becomes wet or soiled).
• Changes bed linens and keeps linens tight to avoid wrinkles from forming under residents.
• Makes beds (occupied and unoccupied).

Objective
