Job summary

Willow Creek Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Aide to provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will assist residents with bathing, grooming, hygiene, and daily activities, while ensuring comfort and safety.

The role requires completion of State Approved Nurse Aide Training and a current Nurse Aide registration, along with strong communication and reading/writing skills; prior CNA experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must have completed State Approved Nurse Aide Training and be on the State Registry as a Nurse Aide in good standing.
• Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff; read and write.

Responsibilities

• Participates in and receives nursing report upon reporting for duty.
• Assists residents with bathing, grooming, hygiene and placement of adaptive equipment.
• Explains procedures to residents before administering.
• Keeps residents dry (changes gown, clothing, linen, etc., when it becomes wet or soiled).
• Changes bed linens and keeps linens tight to avoid wrinkles from forming under residents.
• Makes beds (occupied and unoccupied).

Objective
