New Hanover House is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the 3rd shift to provide direct care to residents and support the nursing team with daily living activities. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care and requires strong interpersonal skills.

You will monitor health indicators, assist with ADLs, and help promote safety and well-being in a supportive community setting. CNA certification and a background in healthcare are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team.
• Engage residents in social and activity programs to support mental well-being.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant environment; follow infection control protocols and safety procedures.
