Job summary

Prestige Care Center of Fairfield is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant dedicated to high-quality resident care. This role supports nursing staff and helps with daily living activities in a long-term care setting.

A $3000 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible applicants. Requirements include being a state-certified CNA in good standing, a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR/BLS certification, no disciplinary action, and at least one year of long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification.
• At least one year of experience as a certified nursing assistant in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nurse(s) and other staff as needed and performs duties as assigned.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living according to care plans and procedures.
• Assists with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents.
• Coordinates dining room services at meals, including setup, delivery, and documentation of intake.
• Delivers nutritional supplements and documents intake.
• Assists with weighing residents and reports weight changes to nurse/supervisor.
• Monitors skin condition and reports issues to nurse/supervisor.
• Assists with toileting program activities.
• Completes flow sheets daily and documents resident progress.
• Keeps nurse and supervisor informed of factors interfering with tasks.
• Reports changes in resident condition to nurse and supervisor.
