Job summary

Chicopee Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated CNA to support residents with daily living activities, nutrition, and mobility. You will work under the supervision of licensed nurses in a family-friendly setting, delivering compassionate care and maintaining safety and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals, hygiene, documentation, and transportation within the facility, while adhering to policies and standards and collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• CNA license is required.
• One year CNA experience preferred.
• Experience observing and reporting health concerns to nurses.
• Commitment to resident safety and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Observe residents and report health issues to the supervising nurse.
• Document resident food and fluid intake accurately.
• Assist with feeding and nutritional supplements as needed.
• Make beds and keep living areas clean and tidy.

• Assist nurses and other staff as needed.
• Adhere to professional standards and facility policies.
• Abide by federal, state and local requirements and standards.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility data.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Residents with daily living activities, to include, delivering meals, turning and ambulating residents and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment meals throughout scheduled shift

• Help Residents with personal hygiene

• Observe Residents and report any health issues to the supervising nurse

• Document Resident food and fluid intake

• Assist Residents with feeding and serving nutritional supplements

• Making the Resident’s beds and keeping their living areas clean and tidy

• Transport Residents within the facility

• Assist nurses and other staff as needed

• Adhere to professional standards and follow all facility policies and procedures

• Abide by all federal, state and local requirements and standards

• Maintain the confidentiality of all Residents and Facility data

Experience:
