Job summary

Mercyhealth's Javon Bea Hospital in Rockford, IL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant II for part-time shifts. You will provide patient care per routine and nursing plan, answer call lights promptly, document care, and maintain clean, safe patient environments.

You may float to units based on patient care needs, participate in performance improvement activities, and support training of new partners with the unit educator. BLS/CPR required within 90 days and CNA certification current.

Qualifications

• Completion of a CNA program.
• Current CNA certificate in applicable state.
• CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care as assigned and per routine as defined by educational scope, according to standards of care, shift routines, and policies and procedures.
• Answers call lights in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Documents care provided according to standards.
• Floats to various units based on patient care needs.
• Participates in department performance improvement activities.
• Training/precepting new partners with unit educator.
• Maintains a clean work and patient environment.
