Job summary

Morada Senior Living is seeking Care Givers to support residents in Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing communities. You will provide hands-on care, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, home-like environment.

Ideal candidates have CNA certification (preferred), a High School diploma or GED, and a passion for elderly care. Excellent communication and customer service are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience with seniors preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and exercise good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
• Assist residents to maintain independence, dignity, and safety.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transfers, feeding).
• Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities.

The Care Giver's role includes providing hands-on care and physical and emotional support to each resident while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment.

Responsibilities Include

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident
• Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities

Position Requirements

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred
• High School diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management, and co-workers
• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Must demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
