Job summary

McGregor Wellness and Rehab is seeking a capable Certified Nursing Assistant to join our caregiving team in McGregor, TX. You will provide compassionate resident care, perform rounds, verify identifications, and support daily activities in a respectful environment.

Qualified candidates hold a CNA license, have at least 6 months of hands-on CNA experience, and can read, write, and speak English. We value patience, teamwork, and a friendly demeanor to assist our residents with dignity.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• A minimum of 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical experience during certification.
• Must possess a sincere desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties as assigned and in accordance with facility's policies and procedures.
• Make resident rounds at the beginning of each shift and every two hours to administer nursing care.
• Verify resident identification before providing care or meals.
• Ensure water pitchers are cleaned and refilled within residents' reach.
• Other duties as directed by Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator.

Qualifications:

• Licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

General Duties:

• Perform all duties as assigned and in accordance with facility's established policies and procedures, nursing care procedures and safety rules and regulations.

• Make resident rounds at the beginning of each shift and every two hours thereafter to administer quality nursing care.

• Verify the identification of a resident before administering nursing care or serving food, to assure that appropriate care is being provided to the correct resident.

• Assure that water pitchers are cleaned, filled with fresh drinking water and within the resident's reach.

• Other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator.
