Qualifications

• Must hold a current CNA-1 certification in Maryland.
• Positive and professional attitude.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, oral care, and other basic needs.
• Perform vital signs at start of shift and as directed.
• Answer calls for assistance and observe changes in residents’ condition.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
• Assist in transporting residents as needed.
• Provide companionship to residents.
• Ensure resident safety at all times.
• Encourage residents to stay active and engaged.
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment.
