Job summary

Lions Rehab Center in Cumberland, Maryland is seeking a compassionate CNA 1 to join our 101-bed facility. You will work closely with our nursing staff to provide quality, person-centered care, supporting residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being.

As a CNA 1, you will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and document observations. We value a collaborative team approach and a supportive work culture that recognises residents as individuals deserving dignity and joy.

Qualifications

• CNA 1 certification in Maryland.
• Experience in long-term or skilled nursing care preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding).
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and health indicators.
• Report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff promptly.
• Support residents’ emotional and social well-being with kindness and respect.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized care.
