Job summary

Ridgeway Rehab Center in Catonsville, Maryland is seeking a compassionate CNA-1 to join our team for full-time evening shifts. You will work closely with nursing staff to assist residents with daily activities and provide emotional support in a 61-bed skilled nursing facility.

Qualifications include Maryland CNA-1 certification, prior long-term care experience preferred, and a strong passion for elder care with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding).
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and other health indicators.
• Report changes in residents' conditions promptly to nursing staff.
• Support residents' emotional and social well-being with kindness and respect.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver individualized care.
• Support the facility's philosophy of care and strive to achieve its goals and objectives.
• Be sensitive to residents' families and respond appropriately.
• Keep residents' bed, dresser, bathroom, and general living area clean and tidy.
• Answer call lights promptly.

Job Summary:

Ridgeway Rehab Center, a beautiful 61-bed skilled nursing facility located in Catonsville, Maryland, is seeking a compassionate and caring CNA-1 to join our team. As a CNA, you will work closely with our nursing staff to provide daily support and assistance to our residents, helping with everything from personal hygiene and mobility to emotional support and companionship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding)

• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and other health indicators

• Report changes in residents' conditions promptly to nursing staff

• Support residents' emotional and social well-being with kindness and respect

• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver individualized care

• Support the facility's philosophy of care and strive to achieve its goals and objectives
