Tupper Lake Center in the Adirondack Park, New York, is seeking professional, caring CNAs to join our team. You will deliver daily nursing care and services to assigned residents, following the resident's assessment and care plan or guidance from the nurse, in a warm, home-like environment.

Qualified applicants must hold NYS CNA certification and be active on the NYS Nurse Aide Registry, with clean registry findings.

Qualifikationen

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of New York State.
• Must be active/current on the NYS Nurse Aide Registry.
• Certification on NYS Nurse Aide Registry with no findings or convictions of abuse, mistreatment, neglect or misappropriation.
• Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Be able to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Be able to deal tactfully with staff, residents, family, visitors, government personnel, and the public.
• Possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, with willingness to handle difficult residents.
• Be willing to seek out new methods and incorporate them into nursing practices.
• Be able to relay information concerning a resident's condition.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others.

Certified Nursing Assistant

The Certified Nurse Assistant will provide to each of their assigned residents, daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan or direction by the nurse.

Educational Requirements/Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of New York State.


• Must be active/current on the NYS Nurse Aide Registry.


• Must have certification verified with the NYS Nurse Aide Registry with no findings or convictions of resident abuse, mistreatment, neglect or misappropriation of resident property listed on the registry against the CNA.


• Be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.


• Be able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.


• Be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.


• Possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.


• Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
