Job summary

Morton Comprehensive is currently hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Tulsa, OK to join the clinical team at the main clinic. The role provides direct patient care, supports front office duties, and ensures timely patient flow with a compassionate approach.

Under supervision, you will take vital signs, assist with exams, and maintain a clean, safe working environment while delivering excellent patient service. CNA certification and high school diploma are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in a medical facility preferred, not required.
• High school education or equivalent.
• CNA certification or credentialing specified.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, provide direct and individualized care including vital signs and room turnover.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working area.
• Provide front office tasks to ensure patients are seen timely.
• Assist in checking in patients, directing visitors, and making reminder calls.
• Check out patients and provide patient summaries.

Assists in providing high-quality, caring, and compassionate patient care. Assists with front office duties of check-in/out procedures and provides excellent customer service through face-to-face and telephone encounters.

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities:

• Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, the CNA will provide competent, direct, and individualized care that includes, but is not limited to, collecting patient vital signs and samples and turning over exam rooms and clinical areas.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe working area
• Provides front office tasks that ensure the patients are seen timely and appropriately.
• Support the team by checking in patients, directing visitors, making patient reminder calls, and answering the office phone.
• Checks out patients and provides patient summaries to patient

Job Qualifications:

• Ability to work with patients and co-workers professionally and tactfully.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a professional team.
• Ability to work with close attention to detail and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are required.
• Ability to comprehend and execute Medical Record Policies and Procedures.
• Six (6) months of experience in a medical facility is preferred, not required.
• General office skills with previous office experience
• High school education or equivalent.
