Seneca Health Care Center in West Seneca, NY is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide hands-on care and support to residents, promoting comfort, dignity, and quality of life. The role offers hourly pay and shifts across days, evenings, overnights, and every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Experience in skilled nursing facility or geriatric care preferred.
• Strong communication and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, mobility).
• Safely transfer, transport, and reposition residents using appropriate equipment.
• Obtain and record vital signs and weights as directed.
• Maintain resident dignity, privacy, confidentiality, and rights at all times.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and restorative nursing activities.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms and care areas.
• Follow infection control practices, safety procedures, and facility policies.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members to provide high-quality resident care.
• Perform additional duties within CNA scope of practice as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred


• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or with a geriatric population preferred
