VitalCore Health Strategies (VCHS) is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for full-time and part-time day, evening, and night shifts at MCI-Shirley in Shirley, MA. The role supports physicians and nurses to meet patient healthcare needs in a correctional setting.

CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANTMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Certified by professional organization in the state.
• Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirements.

CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANTESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Takes vital signs, height and weight.
• Assists with PPDs and EKGs.
• Measures and records intake and output.
• Assists with patient treatments such as dressing changes, decubitus ulcer, and tracheostomy care.
• Adheres to Universal Precaution procedures and established Infection Control procedures.
• Adheres to safety and security policies and participates in disaster drills.
• Is proficient with CPR and recognizes need to implement. Receive re-certification training annually.
• Assists in cleaning, sterilizing and securing of equipment.
• Follows security regulations for keys, sharps, and controlled medications.
