Qualifications

• Current CNA certification required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications must be current.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Provide personal hygiene care including oral, skin, hair, and nail care.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises per care plan.
• Perform light housekeeping like laundry, meal prep, and a safe home environment.
• Take and record vital signs as directed and report changes to the supervising nurse.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and families.
• Follow care plans and agency policies; document care provided and observations.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols; participate in ongoing training.
