Home Instead is seeking compassionate CNAs for part-time roles serving seniors in Frederick and Carroll Counties. This position offers day, evening, overnight, and weekend options, with a support-focused team and opportunities for paid training.

As a Home Instead Caregiver, you’ll provide personal care, companionship, and reliable support that helps clients stay safe and independent at home. Training and a caring company culture accompany flexible schedules.

Competenze

• Must hold a valid CNA certificate and have minimum 2 years of experience.
• Proficient reading, writing, and speaking in English.
• Must have a valid Maryland driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Mansioni

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care.
• Provide companionship and monitor daily wellbeing.
• Memory care and safe, respectful homemaker tasks.
• Assist with appointments, errands, and transportation as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic meal preparation.

Caregiver Requirements -- You Must Have

• Valid CNA certification with minimum of 2 years experience
• TB test results
• Maryland Driver’s License (not provisional or learners permit)
• Reliable personal transportation with valid auto insurance in your name
• Proof of eligibility to work in the US
• Ability to lift 25 pounds
• Ability to successfully pass a Reference Check, Background Check and Motor Vehicle Check, and a pre-employment Drug Screen
• Ability to read, speak and write in English. Additional languages are a plus
• Willing to work with clients with pets or clients that smoke.

Primary Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Medication and appointment reminders
• Personal Care Assistance with hygiene needs
• Memory Care
• Care for aging adults and their property with dignity and respect
• Friendly and compassionate communications
• Take clients to medical appointments and on errands.
• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
