Home Instead, Inc. in Frederick, MD seeks compassionate caregivers to support clients in Carroll and Frederick counties. You will provide personal care, companionship, and transportation with a focus on safety.

Applicants must have a Maryland Driver’s License, reliable vehicle, pass background checks, read/write English, and be able to lift 25 pounds. Training and flexible scheduling are provided.

Formación

• Maryland Driver’s License required.
• Reliable personal transportation with own auto insurance.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Pass reference, background, motor vehicle checks and pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to read, speak and write English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willing to work with clients who have pets or smoke.
• Maintain a set schedule of availability.

Responsabilidades

• Personal care assistance including bathing and toileting.
• Memory care and daily living activities such as meal prep and light cleaning.
• Friendly communication and companionship.
• Medication reminders and transportation to appointments.
• Take clients to medical visits and run errands.

• REQUIRED: Maryland Driver’s License (not provisional or learners permit)
• REQUIRED: Reliable personal transportation with valid auto insurance in your name
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Ability to successfully pass a Reference Check, Background Check and Motor Vehicle Check, and a pre-employment Drug Screen.
• Ability to read, speak and write in English. Additional languages are a plus.
• Willing to work with clients with cats or dogs or clients that smoke.
• Willing to keep to a set schedule of availability

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Personal Care Assistance with hygiene needs including bathing and toileting
• Memory Care
• Assisting with daily living including meal preparation, light cleaning

• Take clients to medical appointments and on errands.
