Job summary

The Vivo Healthcare Meadows in Sarasota, FL is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time direct resident care under the supervision of licensed nurses. You will assist with ADLs, transfers, vital signs, and maintain resident confidentiality.

We offer a $1,250 sign-on bonus for full-time staff, competitive health benefits, and flexible shifts including 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am.

Qualifications

• Must have Florida CNA license.
• Duties include direct resident care under licensed nurses.

Responsibilities

Summary:

We're seeking a caring, professional, and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Sarasota, FL area to perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed practical nurses. Duties will include, but are not limited to, assisting with all ADL's, ambulating and transfers, taking and recording vital signs, as well as maintaining the confidentiality of resident and facility records/information.

Responsibilities of the CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

• Assist patients with hygiene needs.
• Measure and record patients' temperatures and blood pressures
• Observe and record patients' reactions to medications and treatment.
• Practice safety and infection control policies
• Maintain scheduling flexibility to meet unit patient care needs.
• Participate in the organization and prioritization of patient and unit activities.
• Supervision is received from the nursing personnel on the unit.
