Fairmount Homes, a 5-star facility on a beautiful 50+ acre campus in rural Ephrata, PA, is seeking a Night Shift Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with competitive pay to join our caring team. Develop your nursing career here and help enhance the lives of residents.

This full-time CNA role offers 32 or 40 hours per week, night shift 10:30 pm–6:30 am, with pay between $24.10 and $26.05 per hour plus weekend, evening, and night differentials.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA certification in Pennsylvania.
• Desire to work with older adults and demonstrate empathy.
• Kind, respectful, patient and cheerful when engaging with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including eating, bathing, and mobility.
• Report changes in residents' conditions promptly to the charge nurse.
• Obtain vital signs, weights, calories, intake and output accurately.
• Maintain a clean and neat appearance for residents.
• Support Fairmount's mission to enrich the lives of those we serve.

• Pay: $24.10 - $26.05/hour
• Differentials: +$1.25/hour weekends, +$3.00/hour evening shift, +$2.00/hour night shift

Department: Skilled Nursing Care Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Responsibilities

• Assist each resident with activities of daily living. This includes eating, bathing, elimination, ambulation, and positioning according to policy.
• Report pertinent information and/or changes in residents\' conditions promptly to the charge nurse.
• Obtain vital signs, weights, calorie counts, intake, and output accurately.
• Present each resident with a clean and neat appearance.

Job Qualifications

• Required current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania
• Have a sincere desire to work with older adults and demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of others.

• Demonstrate a sincere teamwork approach to resident care.
